WHAT THEY ARE SAYING
ESPN: Hudson is a real big wide receiver for his high school, but will be a tight end at the next level. He will likely fit best as more of an H-Back, but has good size at this stage and displays enough physical upside to potentially develop into more of a true in-line player ... He is a productive receiver who can help move the chains. He displays good strong hands and does a nice job of consistently extending for the ball and catching it away from his body.
Rivals: Hudson is a prototypical tight end for a pass-oriented offense. He can effectively play on the end of the line and help in both run and pass blocking sets, but it's his pass-catching skills that coaches really covet ... Simply put, you can probably count on one or two hands the number of prospects in this entire class that run routes as impressively - and with as much explosiveness - at this size.
Scout: Hudson was the do-it-all guy for Foothill, playing receiver, free safety, punter and punt returner ... He's got very soft hands and is a good route runner, with decent speed, but is also physical and catches the ball well in traffic.
