BERKELEY - Three members of the California women's tennis team - senior co-captains Tayler Davis and Annie Goransson and junior Alice Duranteau - earned spots on the Pac-12 All-Academic teams, the conference announced on Thursday. The Golden Bears all claimed honorable mention.
This is the third conference academic honor for Goransson, who claimed second-team status from 2011-12. Davis and Duranteau have now each earned Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention twice.
To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point and be a significant contributor.
