Everything you need to know about accessible entrances, seating, restrooms, and services at Haas Pavilion — home to Cal men's and women's basketball, men's and women's gymnastics, and volleyball.
One accessible home for every Haas Pavilion event
Haas Pavilion hosts a full slate of Cal Athletics programming, and accessibility services are available at every event held there.
Accessible entrances
Haas Pavilion has two exterior entrances to the basement level on the north side of the building, and a main entrance on the east side. The east-facing main entrance is usable by both ramp and stairway.
None of the building's entrances have automatic door openers. If you need assistance at the door, a member of guest services or event staff can help — look for staff near the main east entrance or call ahead using the number below.
Know before you go
Designated Waiting Area
Located at the elevator lobby, for use during an emergency or whenever a safe place to wait for assistance is needed.
Emergency Evacuation Cabinet
Located along the path of travel from the east main entrance to the elevator.
Telephones
Side approach is possible at all public telephones inside the building. These telephones provide volume controls and data ports.
Accessible seating
Accessible seating is available at Haas Pavilion for basketball, gymnastics, and volleyball events. Because accessible seating locations and availability can vary by event and configuration, the ticket office can confirm the best options for your specific game or match.
Accessible restrooms on every level
All multi-user restrooms on the first, second, and third levels provide stalls with grab bars and space for side transfer. Additional front-transfer stalls are provided where necessary.
1 First Level
- Two restrooms at the northeast corner of the court
- One restroom at the northwest corner of the court
- Two restrooms to the west of the court
- One restroom at the southwest corner of the court
2 Second Level
- One restroom near the northwest corner of the building
- One restroom near the southwest corner of the building
- Two restrooms near the southeast corner of the building
3 Third Level
- Three restrooms at the north end of the building
- Three restrooms at the south end of the building
Restroom locations are approximate and based on university accessibility records. If you need directions to the nearest accessible restroom on gameday, ask any Haas Pavilion event staff member.
