- Earned his second win in his next outing at Washington State three days later on Apr. 13 by retiring both batters he faced with a strikeout in a 13-5 win over Washington State
- Ended San Francisco's two-run rally in the top of the sixth by retiring the only batter he faced to end the threat in a 6-3 win over the Dons on Apr. 16
