• Named the News 5 Player of the Year and New Horizons Offensive Back of the Year as a 2014 senior when he was his team’s second-leading rusher with 1,097 yards and 13 touchdowns on 160 carries, while adding 1,873 yards in the air on 147-of-216 passing (68.1%) with 13 touchdowns and four interceptions for a team that was 7-4 overall and reached the first round of the Class 7A state playoffs
• Earned multiple Player of the Week honors throughout his career from WKRG, Fox10, the Reese’s Senior Bowl, New Horizons, AL.com and WJTV44
• Had a career-high 251 yards rushing and four touchdowns in a 48-31 win against McGill-Toolen High during his senior season and registered six games of 100 yards or more rushing
• Passed for 1,561 yards on 120-of-171 passing (70.2%) with 18 touchdowns and 10 interceptions while running for 936 yards and nine touchdowns on 122 carries as a 2013 junior, leading his team to the first round of the Class 6A state playoffs
• Completed 29-of-43 (67.4%) passes for 445 yards with three touchdowns and one interception while running for 301 yards and five touchdowns on 69 carries as a 2012 sophomore for a team that was 6-4 overall
• Recognized by the Elite Football Network on its list of top Alabama players
• Wore No. 5 as a junior and senior after suiting up in No. 9 as a sophomore
• Earned a spot on the honor roll in each of his four years as a prep
