As a Freshman (2026): Scored 12.850 on floor and also competed on vault at the Stanford International Collegiate... appeared on floor and vault at the Greenville tri-meet (Greenville, Simpson)... competed in his first collegiate all-around at the Stanford Open and posted personal bests of 13.250 on rings and 14.100 on vault to earn MPSF Freshman of the Week honors, also helping Cal to a team vault title (56.650)... posted scores of 12.700 (rings) and 14.000 (vault) in the Bears' season opener against Stanford, helping Cal to the overall vault title and earning CGA Co-Rookie of the Week recognition.
PREVIOUS: Competed for Salto Gymnastics Club… competed in the all-around at the 2025 U.S. Championships… placed fourth in the all-around at the 2025 Men’s Dev Nationals with a runner-up finish on floor… 2024 Men’s Dev Nationals parallel bars champion… two-time Region 4 champion in the all-around (2023-24), floor (2023-24) and parallel bars (2023-24)… also won Region 4 titles on rings and high bar in 2023… also played soccer… was an academic honorable mention in 2023-24.
PERSONAL: Intending to major in electrical engineering and computer science (EECS)… son of Susan and Michael Underhill… brother of Penn State gymnast Matthew Underhill.
