Senior (2026):
- Rowed in the 4V8+ that defeated the UCSB V8+ and Orange Coast College V8+ at the California Challenge Cup.
- Rowed in the 4V8+ that defeated the Santa Clara 3V8+ and the Oregon State 3V8+ twice at the Redwood Shores Invitational.
- Rowed in the 4V8+ that won the Men's Collegiate Varsity 8+ Cal Cup and the Men's Open 8+ Anderson Borthwick Memorial Trophy at the San Diego Crew Classic.
- Rowed in the 4V8+ that defeated the Santa Clara V8+, Oregon State 3V8+ and Wisconsin 2V8+ at the California Classic.
Junior (2025):
- Rowed in the 4V8+ that defeated the UCLA V8+ and UC Irvine V8+ at the California Challenge Cup.
- Rowed in the 4V8+ that defeated UCSD at the Cal/Stanford Invitational.
- Rowed in the 4V8+ that defeated the Huskies at the Washington dual.
- Rowed in the V4+ that finished second at the MPSF Championships.
Sophomore (2024):
- Rowed in the 4V8+ that defeated UCLA and Orange Coast College at the California Challenge Cup.
- Rowed in the 3V8+ that defeated Wisconsin and Oregon State at the Pac-12 Challenge.
- Rowed in the 3V8+ in the dual against Washington.
- Rowed in the 3V8+ that placed second at the Pac-12 Championships.
Freshman (2023)
- Rowed in the 4V8+ that defeated the Santa Clara 2V8+ and Orange Coast College 2V8+ and in the 5V8+ that defeated the Santa Clara 3V8+ at the Ebright Invitational.
High School/Club: Competed for the Oakland Athletic Rowing Society and played basketball in high school…helped his club team to a 2
nd place finish in the straight four at the youth nationals 2021…in basketball was named Freshman of the Year at Alameda HS and Offensive Player of the Year in 2019
Personal: Parents are Jennifer Barbey and John Barbey…has a brother Justin…hobbies include playing the guitar
