- Parents are Claudio & Becca Battaglini
- Parents, Claudio is an exercise and sport science professor/researcher at UNC
- Chapel Hill and volunteer swim coach at East Carolina Aquatics and USA Jr. National Swim Team, while Becca is also works at UNC Chapel Hill and was a three-time All-American volleyball player at Hastings College
- Has two siblings, Gabi and Vincent Battaglini
- Enjoys playing the saxophone and piano, while listening to jazz music
- Goal is to win an individual gold medal at the Olympics
- Plans on majoring in business administration
