Biography

2024-25: Was one of six Bears named to the All-ACC Academic Team...posted records of 12-4 in singles and 10-5 in doubles – all in dual matches – after joining the Bears in the 2025 spring semester…was 7-4 in doubles when partnered with Mikey Wright…Lechno-Wasiutynski won his first eight singles matches before suffering his first loss on March 21…earned the first clinching win of his college career when he topped Sebastian Abboud 6-2, 6-2 to secure a 6-1 rout of Texas Tech…clinched Cal’s 4-3 win over No. 25 Florida State in Berkeley, beating Azariah Rusher 6-1, 6-7(4), 7-5 to secure the Bears’ first ACC victory…he also paired with Wright to beat Jamie Connel and Jan Sebesta 6-3 to help the Bears win the doubles point against Florida State.

Personal/Previous: Undeclared major…joined Cal in January 2025, when he was tied for 323rd in the ITF Men's World Tennis Tour rankings and sat at No. 1,566 in the ATP poll…has a career-best ITF junior ranking of 123 and a career-best ATP singles ranking of 1,422…the right-hander had a tremendous 2023, when he captured Poland's under-18 singles national championship, won the singles title at the J100 Hanko ITF tournament in Finland, took home the doubles crown from the J200 Salsomaggiore in Italy, and won the J100 Manacor doubles title in Spain.
