Did not appear during the 2023 season... WCGA Scholastic All-American...Pac-12 Honor Roll...Elected President of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.

As a Sophomore (2022):
Member of the Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll... Sophomore leader of the Coaches Council... Did not appear during the 2022 season.  

As a Freshman (2021):
Did not compete during the 2021 season.

High School/Club:
Two-time JO National qualifier and 2019 Region 1 uneven bars champion…Claimed third all-around and third on floor at 2019 Regionals…In her final club season in 2020, posted four Top 10 all-around performances, including 10th at the California Grand Invitational, fifth at the Metroplex Challenge, second at Brestyans Las Vegas Invitational and fifth at the Pacific Classic….Trained at Airborne Gymnastics under Danielle Albright, Gibran Campos and Cleo Washington…Attended Mountain View High School, where she was a three-year member of the National Honor Society
 
Personal:
Has recovered from two separate ankle surgeries, first in 2017 as a Level 10…Came back from her first surgery and accomplished her goal of qualifying for JO Nationals…Had to undergo a second surgery but once again qualified for JO Nationals in 2019…Hobbies include watching Netflix, baking, drinking coffee and traveling…Parents are Tim and Cindy Byun…Cousin, Collin Sohn, played water polo at Loyola Marymount
