After a stellar four-year career on the field for the Bears, Ari Manrique joined the coaching staff as a Student Assistant Coach in 2025. During her playing career Manrique was a tremendous leader that donned the captain's armband in several matches.
 

As a Senior (2024): Missed most of her senior season due to injury... Made four appearances and tallied 67 minutes... Finished her career with 53 matches played, 35 starts, eight goals, four assists, two game-winners, and 2,229 minutes played.

As a Junior (2023): Played in 16 matches and made 14 starts... Tallied 825 minutes... Led the team with a career-high five goals including one game winner... Led the team with a .737 SOG% (14-for-19)... Ranked second with 10 points, 19 shots, and 14 shots on goal... Named to the Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll

As a Sophomore (2022): Played in a career-high 17 games and made six starts... Tallied 449 minutes...Ranked third on the team with two goals and was tied for third with two assists... Ranked fourth with six points... Scored the game winner vs Penn (9/18)... Led all goal-scorers with .571 SOG% (4-for-7)... Named to the Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll.

As a Freshman (2021): Played in 16 games and made 15 starts for the Bears... Ranked seventh on the team with 977 minutes... Tied for third on the team with four points... Tallied one goal and two assists... Second on the team with 29 shots and 12 shots on goal... Scored the first goal of her career on a penalty kick to seal Cal's 2-0 win over Long Beach State... Had the game-winning assist in Cal's 1-0 wins over both UC Irvine and Utah.

International: Played for the U.S. National Team at U-15, U-16 and U-17 levels... Represented the United States in tournaments all over the world, including Portugal, China, Germany and the Netherlands.
 
Club Ball: Played for NTH Tophat Club with Coach Troy Garner… Was the GAL runner-up at the National Championship… Club teammates with Ayo Oke and Alexis Wright.
 
High School: Played her senior year at Mill Creek High School where she was named Gwinnet Daily Post Player of the Year, Mill Creek Forward of the Year and the Region’s Forward of the Year… Member of the Honor Roll in high school… Spent her first three years of high school at Gwinnett Online Campus to allow her to travel with the US Youth National Teams.
 
Personal: Daughter of Evette and Ernando Manrique… Has twin brothers named Ernando and Diego who played D1 soccer at the US Naval Academy… Lists her hobbies as sleeping and baking.   
 
Major: Intends to get a degree in Psychology from Cal and become a Sports Psychologist after graduation.
