Kolby Kanetake, a two-time All-American libero at the University of Hawai'i, is in his first season as Cal's volunteer assistant coach.

Kanetake starred at Hawaii from 2013-16, earning two AVCA All-American honors and helping the Rainbow Warriors reach the NCAA Championships in 2014. He also earned All-MPSF honors in back-to-back seasons.

Kanetake was a two-year captain with the Rainbow Warriors and also served as a volunteer coach for Hawai'i's women's program. He also coached on the club level in Honolulu.
