Lazar Andric, who helped lead Cal's men's water polo program to the 2016 NCAA championship, is in his first season as an assistant coach for the Golden Bears.
Andric was an All-American goalie as a senior at Cal and earned All-MPSF and All-American honors along the way. He also was named the MVP of the 2016 NCAA Championships.
Following his playing days in Berkeley, Andric became a student assistant coach for Cal's men's water polo program in 2017 before becoming a full-time assistant in 2018.
A native of Herceg Novi, Montenegro, Andric is a member of the Montenegro Youth and Junior National Teams.
