Anthonia Edgren was promoted to Senior Associate Athletics Director, Deputy Chief Development Officer for Cal Athletics in July 2026, recognizing her leadership and contributions to the department's philanthropic mission.

Edgren joined Cal Athletics in 2020 as Assistant Athletics Director, Donor Engagement, following her role as Director of Development for Student Affairs at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. During her six years at Cal, she has earned successive promotions, most recently serving as Associate Athletics Director, Development, where she has helped cultivate a collaborative, high-performing development team while strengthening relationships with alumni and donors.

In her new role, Edgren will provide strategic leadership for Cal Athletics' development program, advancing fundraising initiatives, mentoring the development team, and deepening engagement with alumni, donors, and supporters. Her experience in higher education and commitment to collaboration will continue to help drive the future success of Cal Athletics.
