During her tenure, she aided the Bucs to a 56-7 overall record, while securing their ninth straight conference championship, the fourth FCSAA title in program history, a runner-up finish in the NJCAA National Championship game, and a pair of NJCAA All-Americans. She served as the head coach for the Texas Bluebonnets of the Lone Star State Summer Collegiate Softball League in Texas.

Before her collegiate coaching career, Corona spent four years at Texas (2020-23) as a student-athlete, then transferred to Texas-Arlington for her fifth year in 2024.
