Riley Knott is in his first season as a volunteer assistant coach with California track & field in 2025-26, following a four-year career with the Golden Bears as a multi-eventer and jumper (2022-25).

Knott, who ranks No. 10 in program heptathlon history, earned three All-ACC honors with the Bears as a senior, with one each in the indoor and outdoor high jump and another in the outdoor long jump.

A native of Two Rivers, Alaska, Knott graduated from Cal in 2025 with a degree in American studies.
