CALIFORNIA HEAD COACH Diane Ninemire
General comment:

"I thought that was a great game that we played against Oklahoma. It was two teams having their backs against the wall, having to come out and get the job done. It was real disappointing losing 1-0 last night, but to have this team come back with a lot of courage and a lot of heart was real promising. Basically, the front of our lineup and the end of our lineup really produced for us tonight. Usually, we have to rely on the middle of our lineup. It was really crazy getting different people contributing to the outcome of this game."

On opponent fielding struggles:
"I don't know that I have seen these teams ever make this many errors as the last three games. I don't know if it is because of the pressure situation and the talent being so closely matched that people are making errors that are costly. It looks like a lot of games at this tournament so far have been won on errors."

CALIFORNIA SOPHOMORE Vicky Galindo
On her offense:

"The game just went our way after the first and second innings. We had good base running and it just went our way. After the end of the fist inning we knew we had a lot of game left in us and we didn't get down on ourselves."

CALIFORNIA SOPHOMORE Kelly Anderson
On relieving starter Kristina Thorson in the first inning:

"I think coming in either in the middle of the game or the end of the game, or starting, you have to go in with the same mindset. You just have to prepare the same way you do if you were starting the game. I warmed up at the same time and was just ready for whenever they wanted to put me in."

CALIFORNIA SOPHOMORE Chelsea Spencer
On preparing for Arizona:

"We have seen Alicia Hollowell three times and we know what she has. We haven't faced her to the best of our ability. If we come out with our A game, it is going to be a good two games. We have to get past that first game first."
