"This is probably the last opportunity we are going to have to substitute the way we did. We hoped that would be a possibility. I didn't make the same mistake we made against Colgate in expecting that. We thought Dartmouth might be a little undermanned. Again, they shot the ball very well early. I think that was partially due to us not being as attentive as we needed to be. But we got going a little bit and we were able to get everybody time, which I thought was important from a team perspective, plus we are going to have a tough game tomorrow night."

"We're pleased. We know we have a lot of work to do, but it is going to come in small steps right now, in small increments."

"We were able to get what we wanted against them. Just about anything we tried, we were open. That's why the ball went inside. It wasn't so much a conscious effort. If a guy is open inside, we have to hit him. They were pretty athletic on the perimeter. We were able to drive and get the ball inside There really wasn't any reason to take threes."

"It's been tough match-ups. It's really hard because we really haven't played against big guys. It's really hard because it seems like every game, people end up going small and they end up playing with a four man who is small. It provides awkward match-ups for us. It's hard to gauge where we are with that as we just haven't had to play big and keep playing big."

"It doesn't matter whether we are ready for Pac-10 play or not. We have been moving along and slowly and steadily improving, but its gotten to a point where further improvements don't happen as quickly. We tried to work on rebounding a little this week, because I feel we aren't rebounding the ball as well as we need to. You have to go back and shore everything up. We're going to see a lot of really quality zones, and we haven't seen a lot of zones. We're going to have to be ready for that. There are going to be a lot of close game in league and we're going to have to make big plays." "You look at the Pac-10. There's nobody there that we can't beat if we work at it, but there's also no one on that schedule that we can beat up on. That's what makes it so competitive."
