BERKELEY - With today's 31-17 California victory over Washington State, Jeff Tedford continued his winning streak against the Cougars, which now stands at eight. The last time Cal lost to Washington State was in 2002. Tonight's win also marked Tedford's 50th career conference victory at Cal.

The Golden Bears are 64-5 when scoring 30 points in the Tedford era.

Keenan Allen hauled in 11 catches for 166 yards and a season-high 69-yard touchdown reception. It was his first 100-yard receiving performance of the season and the seventh of his career, which ranks fifth all time at Cal. The 11 catches gave Allen his first double-digit reception game this season. The receiving touchdown was the fifth of the season and the 16th of his career. He is seventh all-time at Cal in career touchdowns. The touchdown also marked the first time this season that Cal scored first.

Allen now has 196 career receptions. That total ranks second all-time at Cal, as he passed Dameane Douglas tonight. He is just six receptions away from Geoff McArthur with 202. He also has 2,466 career receiving yards, which ranks third all-time at Cal. Bobby Shaw is second with 2,731 and Geoff McArthur is first with 3,188.

Allen also extended his streak of consecutive games with a reception to 31 - every game he's played in at Cal. Heading into today's action, the streak ranked tied for eighth nationally and tied for first in the Pac-12.

Zach Maynard completed 14 of 23 passes for 189 yards with a touchdown pass, a rushing touchdown and two interceptions. He set a new personal best in rushing yards with 78 on 10 carries. He also rushed for his seventh career rushing touchdown, third in 2012.

C.J. Anderson punched in his team-leading third and fourth rushing touchdowns this season - 11th and 12th of his career - and ended the night with 112 yards on 15 carries. It was his second career 100-yard performance, as he also went over 100 yards last week against UCLA. Anderson is the second Cal player to score two rushing touchdowns in a game this season (Brendan Bigelow vs. Ohio State). Anderson is Cal's leading rusher on the season with 498 yards. Tonight marked the third game that Anderson led Cal in rushing.

Anderson, Sofele and Bigelow have now combined for 1,000 rushing yards this season. The trio, along with Maynard, each rushed for at least 50 yards tonight.

Vincenzo D'Amato connected on a career-long 52-yard field goal in the third quarter. He has now made his last six consecutive field goal attempts.

Cal posted 500 yards of total offense (507) for the third time this season. The Bears also produced 318 rushing yards. The last time Cal rushed for over 300 yards as a team was against UCLA in 2010 (304). In the last three games, the Cal rushing attack is averaging 220 yards per game.

Conversely, Cal held the Cougars to 36 team rushing yards.

Steve Williams secured his third interception of the season - sixth of his career - in the first quarter. He is Cal's active career and season leader in that category. Williams also set a new career high with four pass breakups, giving him 22 for his career with ranks tied for 10th all time at Cal.

Michael Lowe caught his second career interception, and his second in as many weeks. As a team, the Bears have secured six interceptions in the last two games.

Cole Leininger booted a personal-best 61-yard punt.

Kameron Jackson made his first career start, along with Nathan Broussard who also collected a 13-yard sack.
