Reigning Pac-12 Player of the Week Nick Lima pelted in his third goal of the season during the 25' to put the Golden Bears ahead 1-0.
It was the first time the Bears have led in any contest this season after a come-from-behind 2-2 draw against Saint Mary's and 2-1 win against Penn State opening weekend.
Late scores in the second half by Indiana's Trevor Swartz in the 75' and Rashad Hyacenth in the 78' sealed the victory for the Hoosiers.
