With a perfect record thus far in the 2017 season, the 13th-ranked California women's gymnastics team returns to Haas Pavilion to host a triangular meet featuring No. 17 Washington and San Jose State Saturday. Meet time is set for 5 p.m., with the meet airing live in its entirety on the Pac-12 Network with Jim Watson and Amanda Borden on the call.Fans attending the meet will receive an exclusive free poster commemorating Cal's 2016 NCAA Championships appearance, the Bears' first since 1992 and second in program history.

BY THE NUMBERS
9.875: Desiree Palomares has won the beam title in both meets this season with a 9.875 in both the NorCal Classic and at Iowa. Palomares is 14th in the country on beam.49.250: Cal's 49.250 on vault in the NorCal Classic was higher than any of the Bears' vault scores from 2016. The Golden Bears are eighth in the country on the event.
7: The Golden Bears have claimed seven event titles so far in 2017 - including two apiece for Arianna Robinson, Toni-Ann Williams and Desiree Palomares. Cal has 17 top-three finishes.
LAST TIME OUT
No. 13 California claimed its first victory on the road, defeating No. 24 Iowa in a dual meet 195.550-194.400. Highlights:• Cal's 195.550 was a season-high team total.
• The Bears also set new team season-high totals on bars (48.850), beam (49.025) and floor (48.775).
• Cal swept beam for the second consecutive meet.
• Four Bears took home an individual event title: Arianna Robinson (vault, floor), Desiree Palomares (beam) and Toni-Ann Williams (floor).
• Cal individuals set or matched 10 different season-high totals, including new season-highs on two events for freshmen Alexandra Dudschus and Cassidy Keelen.
BEAM QUEENS
In both of Cal's meets this season, the Golden Bears have swept the balance beam event. In Cal's season-opener at the NorCal Classic, Desiree Palomares and Sofie Seilnacht shared the title with a pair of 9.875s, and Cassidy Keelen debuted with a 9.825. Most recently against No. 24 Iowa, Palomares repeated as beam champion with a 9.875. Keelen was second with a 9.85, and Zoe Draghi made her season debut with a 9.80.Once considered Cal's worst event, the Bears have made significant improvement on the apparatus under coaches Justin Howell and Liz Crandall-Howell. The Bears owned a 48.285 RQS and ranked 44th in the country on beam in 2012, prior to the duo taking the lead in Berkeley. In 2016, Cal finished 13th on beam with a 49.205 RQS -- an improvement of nearly one point and 31 spots in the rankings. The Bears currently rank 13th on beam and are averaging 48.925 with a high of 49.025.
RANKED ON THE ROAD TO NATIONALS
Cal is set to face eight opponents who were ranked in the Road to Nationals preseason top 25 this season, including three in the top 10: top-ranked Oklahoma, UCLA (No. 4), Utah (6), Stanford (11), Nebraska (12), Oregon State (13), Arizona (18) and Washington (20). Additionally, seven of the Pac-12's eight gymnastics programs also rank in the top 25 in the preseason rankings.Cal's results against top 25 ranked opponents so far in 2017 (using rankings at time of competition):
