Cal Preps for Trip to Washington

BERKELEY – California concludes the regular season with the first of two road trips this weekend as the No. 10 Golden Bears face No. 18 Washington on Saturday in Seattle.
The Bears outscored the Huskies 398.850-375.650 in their last meeting at the Stanford Open in January, but it will the two program's first head-to-head against each other this season.
Cal (395.750) is coming off a second place finish in Berkeley a week ago when it hosted MPSF rival No. 9 Air Force (403.900) who won the meet and No. 20 SC United (289.950) who finished third in the final home meet of the regular season. It was a struggle for the Bears who recorded their lowest team score of the season and gave up Cal's first-ever loss to the Falcons.
The Bears last outing, however, was highlighted by Aaron Mah (81.600) and Yordan Aleksandrov (78.350) finishing second and third in the all-around competition, respectively. Mah notched the floor title while (14.850) and Aleksandrov took the horizontal bar (14.150).
A trip to Seattle will be one the final chances for the Bears to fine-tune before the MPSF Conference Championship on April 8.
