BERKELEY – The California men's soccer team heads to the Pacific Northwest tomorrow for Pac-12 Conference games against No. 1 Washington and Oregon State. The Golden Bears (6-5-3, 2-3-2 Pac-12) battle the Huskies (14-1-0, 7-0-0 Pac-12) at 7 p.m. on Thursday in Seattle and then clash with the Beavers (7-5-1, 4-2-1 Pac-12) at 1 p.m. on Sunday in Corvallis, Oregon.
Cal defeated Oregon State, 2-1, in their Oct. 3 match in Berkeley but fell to UW, 1-0, on Oct. 6 at Edwards Stadium.

The Bears closed their regular-season home schedule with a 3-3, double-overtime tie with UCLA on Halloween and a 1-0 loss to San Diego State on Nov. 3.
Against the Bruins, Tommy Williamson scored two goals and – trailing 3-2 with three seconds remaining in regulation – Simon Lekressner headed in the equalizer to knot the game at 3-3 and send it to OT.
Despite a 27-9 shots advantage over SDSU, Cal fell to the Aztecs based on a 51st-minute penalty kick by Adam Vargas. Prior to the match, Cal honored Drake Callender, Simon Lekressner, Javier Macias and Noah Texter on Senior Day.

Tommy Williamson's 71st-minte penalty kick decided a tight game against Oregon State on Oct. 3 in Berkeley. Cal got on the scoreboard early when Jonathan Edwards intercepted an OSU pass and found Francisco Perez streaking into the box. Perez scored his first goal of the season in the game's second minute to give the Bears a 1-0 lead. Joel Walker struck in the 27th minute for OSU to tie the game at 1-1, until Williamson hit his second-half winner.
Three days later at Edwards Stadium, Cal outshot Washington, 12-11, but the Bears fell to the Huskies, 1-0. In the 30th minute. Cal goalkeeper Drake Callender saved two consecutive UW shots before Blake Bodily finally scored on the third shot. Cal's last chance to tie came on Perez's curving effort in the 89th minute that UW goalie Sam Fowler parried away.

Cal goalkeeper Drake Callender was named one of 10 finalists for the Senior CLASS Award on Oct. 11.
An acronym for Celebrating Loyalty and Achievement for Staying in School ®, the Senior CLASS Award focuses on the total student-athlete and encourages students to use their platform in athletics to make a positive impact as leaders in their communities.
To be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must be classified as an NCAA Division I senior and have
notable achievements in four areas of excellence: community, classroom, character and competition.
The finalists were chosen by a selection committee from the list of 30 candidates announced in September. Nationwide fan voting begins immediately to help select the winner, and fans are encouraged to vote on the Senior CLASS Award website through Nov. 18, 2019. Fan votes will be combined with media and Division I head coaches' votes to determine the winner. The Senior CLASS Award winners will be announced during the 2019 NCAA Men's and Women's College Cup ® championships later this fall.

Cal ends the regular season on Nov. 14 at 7 p.m. in the Big Clasico at Stanford in a match televised by the Pac-12 Networks.
