Fall Play Continues In Washington

Cal Sending 12 Golfers To Pair Of Husky-Hosted Tournaments
BREMERTON, Wash. – California men's golf returns to action next week as 12 Golden Bears will compete in two conjunct tournaments, the Husky Invitational and the Husky Individual, at Gold Mountain Golf Club on Monday and Tuesday.
Cal's five-man lineup and one individual will compete in the Husky Invitational, held at Gold Mountain's Olympic Course, while another seven Golden Bears will play as individuals in the Husky Individual at the club's Cascade Course. Both tournaments, hosted by Washington, will play 36 continuous holes Monday and 18 holes Tuesday.
The Cal lineup will be grouped with Nevada and Seattle U throughout the first 36 holes with tee times ranging between 9:05-9:49 a.m. PT Monday. The invitational's talented 14-team field features seven Pac-12 Conference squads, including Oregon, Oregon State, UCLA, Utah and Washington State along with the Bears and Huskies.
The Bears started their fall slate off on the right foot with a runner-up team finish (+14, 294-292-292) at the Marquette Intercollegiate on Sept. 3-5, while freshman Eric Lee won co-medalist honors with a 3-under-par performance in his collegiate debut. It was Cal's fifth top-five team finish in its past nine tournaments dating back to the start of the 2023 spring season.
Three Bears will make their season debuts across the two tournaments, including sophomore Nathan Wang, who grabbed the top spot in the lineup, as well as senior Jeewon Park, who will play as the lone individual in the Husky Invitational.
