FAIRFIELD – Playing in the first round of the singles main draw at the Solano Challenger, California men's tennis senior Carl Emil Overbeck lost to Ethan Quinn 6-3, 6-0.
Overbeck earned wild-card entry into the event – a tournament on the ATP Challenger tour – by capturing the singles shootout at the Battle in the Bay Classic in September.
