Tatum Anzaldo has been named to the 2024 Pac-12 Preseason All-Conference Team as announced by the conference Thursday.
Anzaldo is set for her fifth season in the Blue and Gold after a strong 2023 campaign in which she received First-Team All-Pac-12 recognition for the second straight year. The Whittier native led the Golden Bears with a .383 average in 2023 as the leadoff hitter and was second on the team with 59 hits, while sitting third in both slugging percentage (.578) and total bases (89).
In 2022, Anzaldo collected 74 hits on the season, which was second in the Pac-12. She recorded a 14-game hit streak to begin the year and anchored a defense that turned 20 double plays, second in the conference.
The Bears open the 2024 season on Feb. 8 in Lake Charles, Louisiana, at McNeese State with a 4 p.m. PT first pitch.
