Two Bears Advance To Finals Of 3-Meter Dive

Freshman Jack Clark Advances To First Career Finals

FEDERAL WAY, Wash. – Two divers from the California men's swimming & diving team advanced to the finals of the 3-meter dive on the second day of the Pac-12 Diving Championships Wednesday at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center.
 
Sophomore Joshua Thai took sixth for the second-consecutive event, finishing with a score of 351.05. Thai finished the prelims in third with a score of 362.00.
 
Freshman Jack Clark advanced to his first career finals, finishing in eighth place with a score of 313.75 – his second-best score of the year in this event. In the prelims, he finished in seventh with a career-best score of 319.55.
 
Conrad Eck finished 12th in the prelims with a score of 292.75. Scott Garman finished 15th in the prelims with a score of 259.05.
 
The Pac-12 Diving Championships will conclude Friday with the platform dive. Prelims for the event will begin at 3:05 p.m. with the finals taking place right after at 4:45 p.m.
