Sagapolutele Named Manning Award Quarterback Of The Week

California football quarterback Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele added to his honors Wednesday for his performance in the Golden Bears' 29-26 overtime victory at No. 14 Louisville in a Week 11 game on Saturday. Sagapolutele was named the Manning Award Quarterback of the Week.

In addition to winning the Manning Award Quarterback of the Week Award, he was named the Davey O'Brien National Quarterback of the Week and was named the ACC's Rookie and Quarterback of the Week.

Sagapolutele hit Jacob De Jesus with a three-yard touchdown pass on fourth-and-goal on the game's final play at Louisville for the game winner to cap a career night in which he completed 30-of-47 passes for 323 yards - all career highs - along with two touchdown throws.

On the season, Sagapolutele has completed 224-of-364 passes for 2518 yards along with 13 touchdown throws. Sagapolutele is tied for second in the ACC and tied for sixth nationally in completions (tied for third among FBS players), while he is third in the ACC and 12th nationally in passing yards (8th among FBS players).
