Wilkerson Named CSC Academic All-American
California men's soccer midfielder
Cam Wilkerson was named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-America Second Team for his success in the classroom and on the field, CSC announced Tuesday. The is the first such honor for the senior Golden Bear.

The criteria to qualify for the CSC Academic All-America Team include claiming CSC Academic All-District Team honors, compiling at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA and competing in at least 90% of one's team's games played or having started at least 66% of one's team's total games played. Wilkerson was named to the CSC Academic All-District Team - for the second time in his career – in November.

Wilkerson is a product of nearby Richmond who transferred to Cal after competing for three seasons at UCLA. An American studies major, he has collected numerous accolades including being named to the 2022 UCLA Director's Roll, 2023 CSC Academic All-District Team and 2024 Fall Academic All-Big Tean Team. In 2025, Wilkerson started 16 of 18 games played and scored two goals, two assists and six points for Cal. Both of his goals were game winners, with Wilkerson tallying the deciding goal in a 3-2 result at Saint Mary's in the season opener and posting the winner in a 6-1 rout at Radford in October.
