No. 9 Cal Readies For Big Row

Bears Face No. 1 Stanford
The No. 9 California women's rowing team will face off against top-ranked Stanford in the Big Row on Saturday at the Redwood Shores. The Golden Bears will send their top three varsity eight boats along with their top two varsity fours to take on the Cardinal.
Weather conditions are expected to be windy, so the racing schedule (below) is subject to change. Races are tentatively expected to start at 9 a.m. PT.
As with every Big Row, the Bears will dedicate Saturday's races to Jill Costello, the former Cal coxswain who passed away in 2010 at the age of 22 after a battle with lung cancer. Cal rowers will wear "Team Jill" tank tops in her honor.
All races will be live streamed via the Overnght platform HERE and results will be posted HERE.
The Bears are coming off a dual with No. 3 Washington where Cal's 2V4+, 3V8+ and 4V8+ all notched wins at the Montlake Cut in Seattle.
These will be the last set of races before the team prepares for its first-ever ACC Championships on May 16-17 in Clemson, South Carolina.

9 a.m. – V4+
9:10 a.m. – 2V4+
9:30 a.m. – V8+
9:50 a.m. – 2V8+
10 a.m. – 3V8+
10:20 a.m. – Cal 4V8+ vs Cal 5V8+
