Ten members of the 2025 California baseball team were named to the All-ACC Academic Team announced by the conference Thursday. The list of 2025 Golden Bears' honored for their academic and athletic performance includes Jarren Advincula, Alex Birge, Oliver de la Torre, Gavin Eddy, Max Handron, PJ Moutzouridis, Logan Piper, David Shaw, Ryan Tayman and Cole Tremain.

To be eligible for the All-ACC Academic Team, student-athletes must have earned a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.0 cumulative GPA over their academic career.
 
Jarren Advincula, INF, 5-11, 200, So. (Santa Clara, Calif./Archbishop Mitty HS)
Major: Sociology
2025 Season
- Played in 55 games with 55 starts
- Led Cal in hits (81), doubles (17), at bats (237), stolen bases (13), multiple-hit games (26), three-hit games (11) and total bases (120), while he was tied for first in runs scored (48), second in batting average (.342), tied for second in triples (2), third in on-base percentage (.410) and among regulars third in slugging percentage (.506) 
 
Alex Birge, C, 6-0, 205, R-Jr. (Olathe, Kan./Wichita State/Olathe HS)

- Played in 45 games with 41 starts (37 C, 3 DH, 1 1B)
- Led Cal in home runs (12) and walks (40), while he was second in on-base percentage (.415), third in runs scored (38) and among regulars first in slugging percentage (.582)
- Previously named to the Academic All-America Baseball teams chosen by the College Sports Communicators as a second-team selection and was also a CSC Academic All-District pick
 
Oliver de la Torre, RHP, 6-4, 225, So. (Pleasanton, Calif./Amador Valley HS)

- Had a 3-4 record and a 5.01 earned run average with 46 strikeouts in 46.2 innings pitched

- Posted a 4-4 record with a 5.74 ERA in a team-high 58.0 innings pitched with 50 strikeouts that were fourth

- Third on the team in home runs (9), while he was fourth in RBI (34) and walks (21)
