For the second time in three weeks, California quarterback Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele has been named ACC Rookie of the Week following his week three performance in Cal's win versus Minnesota, announced by the conference office on Monday morning.
 
The Ewa Beach, Hawaii, native led the Golden Bears to a 27-14 victory over the Golden Gophers in Berkeley last Saturday. Sagapolutele was 24-of-38 for a career-high 279 yards passing with three touchdowns. 
 
Earlier this season, Sagapolutele became the first Cal true freshman quarterback to lead the Bears to victory in a season-opener against Oregon State in Corvallis.
