Ten Bears Earn ACC All-Academic Honors

Several Cal Runners Receive Repeat Awards

Ten members of the California men's and women's cross country teams have been named to the All-ACC Academic team, announced by the conference on Friday. Three Golden Bears have made the team for the third straight time (Addie Johnson, Sophie Tau, and Rowan FitzGerald), and Justin Pretre earned his fourth team selection, including selections from their respective track & field seasons. 

Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team include a minimum 3.0 grade point average for the previous two semesters and a 3.0 cumulative GPA for one's academic career, while being enrolled at the institution for at least one year and classified as an undergraduate student. In addition, student-athletes must compete in at least 50% of their team's athletic contests.
