Underhill Named MPSF Freshman Of The Week
Cal Freshman Earns 3rd Weekly Honor, 2nd Conference Honor

Nathan Underhill was announced as the MPSF Freshman of the Week on Tuesday, picking up his second such award and third overall weekly award this season. Underhill, a native of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, is the first Cal man to earn multiple MPSF Freshman of the Week honors since
Theodor Roald Gadderud in 2023, having also won the award on Jan. 27.
In the Golden Bears' meet at Oklahoma this past Saturday, Underhill posted matching scores of 13.150 on floor and rings, helping Cal to season highs on both. The Bears ended the afternoon with a team score of 315.700, their best of the year and second best in the modern scoring era.
Underhill and the Bears will be back in action this Saturday at the Stanford Quad Meet, with the first rotation scheduled for 4 p.m. PT.
