STANFORD – The California men's gymnastics team posted its second-best score of the year to close out its regular season at Haas Pavilion on Saturday, welcoming No. 1 Oklahoma to Berkeley for a rematch on the Golden Bears' senior night. All four of the soon-to-be-graduates (Khalen Curry, Theodor Roald Gadderud, Jasper Smith-Gordon and Kaien Orion) contributed heavily to Cal's efforts, helping their team to two event titles and upward momentum heading into the upcoming MPSF Championships.

The Bears scored 315.100 (over three points above their season average) while the Sooners finished the night with a total of 325.250.

For the second week in a row, Cal fielded a standout floor lineup that included two sticks (from Curry and sophomore Matteo Bardana, who was competing in the all-around for the fourth consecutive week) and two of the night's top-three scores (a second-place 13.700 from Bardana and a third-place 13.650 from Roald Gadderud, the latter of which was also his best in a Cal uniform in the modern scoring era) to lead the Bears to a total of 53.650 and tie with Oklahoma's floor lineup. Orion anchored the Bears on pommel horse and put down a score of 13.400, his second-best outing of the season on the event.

Two-time MPSF Freshman of the Week Nathan Underhill earned a stick for the Bears on rings, as did Roald Gadderud in an exhibition routine, with both earning matching scores of 13.100; it was anchorman Jaxon Mitchell who was Cal's top scorer of the rotation, matching his season best with a 13.250. Cal's vault lineup, which crossed 56 total points (56.300) for the second time this season, featured 14-plus scores from Smith-Gordon (14.250), Underhill (14.200) and Roald Gadderud (14.050) to sweep the podium and notch a season best for the latter man.

Parallel bars featured an outstanding leadoff routine from junior Tucker Yasunaga that ended with a stick and a score of 13.600, good for third place. He followed that up by tying for third on high bar with sophomore Troy Nuesca, who stuck his dismount to finish with a score of 12.750.
