Cal Earns Its Best Pommel Horse Score In Modern Scoring Era
NORMAN, Okla. – Sharing the gym with No. 1 Oklahoma for the first of two dual meets this year, the California men's gymnastics team posted its best score of the season Saturday at McCasland Field House thanks to season bests on pommel horse, floor and rings, while the Sooners also posted their top score of the year at 331.600 (including three event scores of 56.000 or higher) to highlight a raucous Senior Night celebration.
The Golden Bears' pommel horse score of 53.950 was also a program best in the modern scoring system, surpassing the previous modern-era program record set at the 2025 NCAA Championships. Sophomore

Cal scored 52.750 on floor thanks to solid scores from senior
Khalen Curry (13.750, the best by a Bear this season) and sophomore

Jaxon Mitchell. Sophomore
