REDWOOD CITY – The California women's rowing team hosted Oregon State in a preseason friendly on Saturday and swept all races on Redwood Shores.

The Golden Bears' varsity eight completed the race in 6:06.1 to the Beavers' 6:34.2. Cal's second varsity also won by a sizeable margin, 6:23.1-6:46.7.

The coxed four race was the most competitive, with the Bears slipping past Oregon State, 7:16.7-7:19.7. The Bears also won handily in the second coxed four event.

Cal returns to competition on March 28-29 for the San Diego Crew Classic.
