Nine Golden Bears from the California women's rowing program will represent six different nations at the U23 World Rowing Championships, which is slated for July 23-26 in Duisburg, Germany.
 
Minou Bouman (Netherlands) will make her fourth consecutive appearance at the event while Lotta van Westreenen (Netherlands) will row in her third U23 World Rowing Championships. Ella Wheeler will make her second appearance for the United States while Julia Irmler's second-straight appearance at the event will be for Germany. Madeline Cox (New Zealand), Lola Crampin (Great Britain), Charlotte Johnson (Germany) and Vittoria Pastorelli (Italy) will make their debuts at the U23 level on the world stage.
 
Bouman will return to The Netherlands' women's eight lineup for the second straight year after helping the Dutch crew take first in the B final in 2025. Bouman took second place at the 2024 U23 World Championships in the women's four B final, and the year prior helped her country to a fifth-place finish in the women's eight. Van Westreenen will row in both the women's four and the mixed 8+ events for The Netherlands this year. In 2024, she took fifth in the women's pair event and helped the Dutch women's eight take fifth at the 2023 competition.
 
Wheeler is slated to compete in two events for Team USA in 2026. She will join the women's 4+ and will stroke the mixed 8+, alongside coxswain and fellow Bear Michael Kain of the Cal men's rowing team. Wheeler helped Team USA win the silver medal in the women's eight at last year's competition.
 
Irmler and Johnson will both row in Germany's women's eight entry. Irmler helped Germany take fourth in the same event in 2025.
 
Crampin and O'Sullivan will make their first U23 appearances for Great Britain in the women's eight, while Pastorelli is set to make her U23 debut in Italy's women's eight. Cox will represent New Zealand as a single sculler.
