California junior forward Liz Klompmaker has been named to the Preseason All-ACC Field Hockey Team, the conference office announced Friday. Klompmaker was one of 13 players across the conference to earn the recognition, which was voted on by the league's head coaches.

Klompmaker is coming off an impressive sophomore campaign in which she was named a Third Team NFHCA All-American and earned First Team NFHCA All-Region and All-ACC honors. She ranked fourth in the conference in points (34), fifth in goals (16), third in game-winning goals (four) and third in shots (77), while leading the team in each category for the second consecutive year.

In addition, she earned ACC Offensive Player of the Week honors on Oct. 14 after scoring the game-winning goal in an upset of No. 5 Syracuse. Klompmaker scored in 11 of 16 games played during the 2025 season, including three multi-goal performances. The junior also moved into a tie for ninth on Cal's all-time career goals list with 31 goals.

Cal opens the regular season at home against American University on Aug. 28 at 6 p.m. PT.
