Spring 2019: The senior co-captain ended her Cal career in the postseason, as Hauger competed in her second straight NCAA Singles Championship and fell to Michigan’s 50th-ranked Brienne Minor, the 2017 NCAA singles champion, in the round of 64, 6-1, 6-4…in Cal’s win over Long Beach State in the NCAA team tournament round of 64, Hauger defeated Emma Bardet, 6-4, 6-0, at court-two singles and earlier paired with Katerina Stloukalova to defeat the 49ers’ Carlota Casampere and Zara Lennon, 7-5, to clinch the doubles point…Hauger earned All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention for the second straight season and Pac-12 All-Academic Honorable Mention for the third straight time…during the regular season, Hauger defeated Florida’s ninth-ranked Ida Jarlskog, 6-4, 7-6(5), to clinch Cal’s 4-3 upset win over the 11th-ranked Gators, and she also topped the 13th-ranked Evgeniya Levashova, 6-1, 7-6(5), in Cal’s 4-3 upset win at No. 7 Pepperdine…in regular-season doubles action, Hauger and Stloukalova upset Stanford’s 43rd-ranked duo of Melissa Lord and Niluka Madurawe, 6-3…Hauger posted records of 24-10 in singles and 18-11 in doubles in her Iast season…she was ranked 48th in singles as of the May 22 Oracle ITA Rankings, with the last singles poll of the season coming out on May 29.
Fall 2018: Compiled a 9-4 singles record and a 5-3 doubles record, with Hauger teaming up with Rosenqvist for the entire fall…the duo was ranked 33rd in the September Oracle ITA Rankings…they reached the doubles quarterfinals of the ITA Northwest Regional Championships, round of 16 in the Riviera ITA All-American Championships and final of the Cal Fall Invitational…in singles, Hauger earned a No. 34 ranking in the Oracle ITA September singles poll and moved to 35th in the November rankings…she beat Stanford’s 63rd-ranked Emma Higuchi, 6-3, 6-1, in the round of 16 and then upset Stanford’s 13th-ranked Melissa Lord, 6-1, 6-4, in the quarterfinals on the way to the semifinals at regionals and advanced to the round of 32 at the All-American…she opened the season by capturing the top-flight title at the Cal Fall Invitational, upsetting teammate Anna Bright (then ranked 29th) in the semifinals, 6-4, 6-3…closed the fall by competing in singles in the Oracle ITA National Fall Championships.
Spring 2018: Competed for the first time in the NCAA Singles Championship, falling to Florida’s 18th-ranked Anna Danilina, 7-5, 6-0, in the round of 64…compiled a 24-8 singles record and a 23-9 doubles mark for the season…led Cal with 23 doubles wins…finished the year ranked 55th in singles and ranked 76th in doubles with Julia Rosenqvist…Hauger earned All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention and Pac-12 All-Academic Honorable Mention…named Pac-12 Player of the Week on April 10 after posting two singles wins and two doubles wins as Cal beat Sacramento State, 7-0, and upset No. 26 Oregon, 5-2…against the Hornets on April 5, the 48th-ranked pair of Hauger and Rosenqvist clinched the doubles point with a 6-2 victory over Maria Fernanda Gonzalez and Carolina Chernyetsky…in singles, the 44th-ranked Hauger defeated Sac State’s Gonzalez, 6-2, 6-2…on April 7 vs. the Ducks, Hauger and Rosenqvist topped Shweta Sangwan and Julia Eshet, 6-1, at court-one doubles…Hauger then knocked off Oregon’s Julia Lilien, 7-5, 6-0…Hauger won nine of her last 11 completed singles matches…in her first appearance at court-one singles, the 42nd-ranked Hauger upset USC’s 30th-ranked Gabby Smith, 3-6, 6-3, 7-5, on Feb. 23…on March 10, the 32nd-ranked Hauger defeated UCLA’s 104th-ranked Terri Fleming, 6-1, 3-6, 6-2…was 14-3 in singles in the dual-match season...was 7-1 at court-three singles and also 7-1 vs. Pac-12 opponents.
Fall 2017: Ranked 40th in the last Oracle ITA singles poll of the fall, after starting out ranked 75th…was 10-4 in singles, including a run to the round of 16 at the Riviera ITA All-American Championships after she won thrice to advance out of qualifying…beat Northwestern’s 92nd-ranked Maddie Lipp, 6-1, 7-6(5), to qualify for the All-American main draw, in which Hauger upset Winthrop’s 15th-ranked Lauren Proctor, 2-6, 7-5, 7-5, in the round of 32…reached the quarterfinals of the ITA Northwest Regional Championships and the round of 32 at the Oracle ITA National Fall Championships…teamed with Karla Popovic to earn a No. 11 preseason doubles ranking and post an 8-2 doubles record…the pair finished as runner-up at the ITA Northwest Regional Championships, reached the round of 16 at the Oracle ITA National Fall Championships and won the top-flight title at the Cal Fall Invitational… Hauger and Popovic and were ranked 39th in the last doubles poll of the fall.
Spring 2017: Clinched a team-high seven Cal wins, including against Georgia Tech (beating Kenya Jones, 6-1, 6-2, on court 4), UCLA (Alaina Miller, 6-2, 7-5, court 3), Arizona (Marie Van Aelst, 6-1, 6-1, court 4), Oregon (Julia Eshet, 6-1, 5-7, 6-4, court 4), Washington State (Victoria Matejevic, 6-3, 6-0, court 4), San Jose State in the NCAA round of 64 (Tamara Culibrk, 6-2, 6-0, court 4) and LSU in the NCAA round of 32 (Jessica Golovin, 6-3, 6-1, court 4)...Hauger ended the year with a 27-9 singles record, including 11-4 on court four and 5-1 on court three…she posted a team-high 29 doubles wins to go along with eight doubles losses…in two years at Cal, she has a 57-15 singles record and a 54-21 doubles record…Hauger and Karla Popovic ended the season with No. 46 doubles ranking and a 25-7 record, including 14-4 on court two…the two won twice in the NCAA team tournament, beating San Jose State’s Gaelle Rey and Marine Dans, 6-1, and the topping Jade Lewis and Becca Weissmann, 6-3, to clinch the point against LSU…during the regular season, Hauger and Popovic, then-ranked 50th, upset No. 45 Rianna Valdes/Jessica Failla, 7-6(3), to clinch the point vs. USC in a Feb. 25 match in Berkeley…off the court, Hauger earned Pac-12 All-Academic Honorable Mention.
Fall 2016: Entered the fall ranked No. 86 in singles…Olivia and Karla Popovic won the doubles title at the ITA Northwest Regional Championships, qualifying for the USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships…they beat the Stanford duo of Kimberly Yee and Caroline Lampl, 6-2, 6-7(5), 10-8 in the finals…at indoors, they reached the round of 16 before falling to the 12th-ranked team of Gabriela Knutson and Valeria Salazar of Syracuse 6-3, 6-3…the Bear duo also won the top flight in the SMC Fall Invitational…together, they posted an 11-3 record…in singles, Hauger reached the semifinals at the SMC Fall Invitational and the round of 16 at regionals…she earned an 8-4 singles record to round out the fall.
Spring 2016: Completed a strong freshman season with a 30-6 singles record, 25-13 doubles record and No. 121 ranking in the last ITA singles poll…posted a 21-11 doubles record (16-7 in dual matches) with Klara Fabikova…Haguer won her last match in her hometown of Tulsa, Oklahoma, beating Katarina Stresnakova, 6-2, 6-4, at court-five singles in Cal’s 4-3 loss to Oklahoma State in the NCAA team semifinals…Hauger and Fabikova also clinched the doubles point of Cal’s first three matches of the NCAA team tournament; that included a 6-2 victory over Sabrina Fedirici/Felicity Maltby of Texas Tech in the round of 16 in Tulsa, a 6-4 win over UC Santa Barbara’s Stephanie Yamada/Melissa Baker in the round of 32 in Berkeley and a 6-1 victory over UT Rio Grande Valley’s Dominique Esparza/Natacha Minc in the opening round of 64 in Berkeley…Hauger defeated Stanford’s Caroline Lampl, 6-1, 6-4, in the Pac-12 singles invitational final to claim the championship…was named the 2016 Pac-12 Freshman/Newcomer of the Year and 2016 ITA Northwest Region Rookie of the Year…clinched the final of the ITA National Team Indoor Championship to give Cal its first national indoor title and first national team championship overall and to earn the Most Outstanding Player award at the tournament in Madison, Wisconsin…in the national indoor title match, Hauger knocked off Marika Akkerman of defending champ North Carolina, 7-5, 2-6, 7-5…Hauger joined teammate Karla Popovic on the all-tournament team at national indoors…also clinched a notable regular-season match, beating the 88th-ranked Brianna Morgan, 4-6, 7-5, 6-4, as No. 1 Cal edged previously unbeaten and seventh-ranked Florida, 4-3, at the Hellman Tennis Complex.

Fall 2015: In the first tournament for the doubles pair of Hauger and Fabikova, the third-seeded Bears won four times to reach the final of the USTA/ITA Northwest Regional Championships at Stanford…they beat the Cardinal’s Krista Hardebeck/Caroline Lampl, 3-6, 6-2, 1-0(7) in the semifinals before falling to Stanford’s Taylor Davidson/Caroline Doyle, 7-6(5), 6-3, in the regional’s championship match…the duo did enough to earn an at-large berth to the ensuing USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships, though the Bears lost in the opening round of 16 to Virginia’s Meghan Kelly/Danielle Collins, 7-5, 6-1…Hauger opened her college career playing doubles with Lyann Hoang, and the Bears won the gold flight title in the Cal Nike Fall Invitational with an 8-4 victory over San Jose State’s Marine Dans/Sybille Gauvin in the final…Hauger and Hoang also reached the Saint Mary’s Fall Invitational.
Personal/Previous: Graduated with a degree in business administration…Hauger graduated from Booker T. Washington High School with a 4.8 grade-point average…she reached the second round of junior girls singles qualifying in the 2015 U.S. Open and got to the junior singles quarterfinals of the 2014 Australian Open…one of her high-profile wins from that Australian Open include a 6-4, 6-3 second-round victory over Varvara Flink, the No. 2 ranked junior in the world at the time who was also the tournament’s top seed…also played in junior singles qualifying in the 2014 French Open…other international results include singles and doubles titles at the Monterrey ITF Junior Cup in Monterrey, Mexico, and the Estonian Junior Open singles crown in 2013…grew up playing a variety of sports including tennis, golf, soccer, basketball and field hockey… parents are Alice and Robert Hauger…has a brother, Chris.
