TRACK & FIELD
2020: Kicked off the 2020 outdoor season at the Cal Opener… Competed in the 1,500-meters, crossing the line in 4:44.64 to finish 11^th.

2019 (Cal): Did not compete.

2018 (TCU): Did not compete. 

2017 (TCU): Ran in seven meets during the outdoor season, running in the 1500m or 5000m... Recorded wins in the 1500m at the TCU Invitational (4:27.36), Horned Frog Invitational (4:29.98), and Longhorn Invitational (4:30.00)... Finished second in the 5000m at the Stanford Invitational (15:51.78) and fourth at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships (16:37.21)... Had a breakout meet at the Big 12 Indoor Championships... In her only 5000m race of the indoor season, Goertzen ran a 16:02.8 mark to win the Big 12 title... Took home the bronze in the 3000m as well... Opened the indoor season with a win in the 3000m at the Texas A&M Invitational (9:27.82).

CROSS COUNTRY
2019: Competed in three events for the Bears… Made her Cal debut at the USF Invitational with a 24:02.8 mark to help the women’s team claim the team title in the event… Recorded a personal best mark of 22:29.3 to finish 23rd at the Capital Cross Challenge… Ran a 22:42.5 mark at the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational… Pac-12 Fall Academic selection.

2018 (Cal): Did not compete. 

2017 (TCU): 2017 USTFCCCA All-Region team... 2017 USTFCCCA All-Academic... Academic All-Big 12... Competed in four meets during the 2017 campaign... Finished in 12th at the NCAA Soutch Central Regional with a 6K time of 20:18.2... Finished 24th at the Big 12 Championship... Finished in 20th place with a personal record of 16:48.9 in the 5K at the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational. 

2016 (TCU): 2016 Big 12 Bronze Medalist in the 6K with a time of 20:35.1... Named first team All-Big-12, and Academic All-Big 12 First Team... 2016 USTFCCCA All-Region... 2016 USTFCCCA All-Academic... Led the Horned Frogs to a program-best sixth-place finish at the NCAA Regional meet with a time of 20:38.2... Earned an individual bid to the NCAA Cross Country Championships, becoming the first TCU athlete since 2012 to make it to nationals... Placed 108th out of the nation's top 250 athletes at the 2016 NCAA Cross Country Championships at 20:52.2

2015 (TCU): Competed in all three 6K meets during her freshman campaign... Opened the season with a 23:07.4 time at the Pre-National Invite... At the Big 12 Championships, recorded a time of 23:16.5... Competed at the NCAA Regional meet, clocking a season-best time of 22:01.8.

HIGH SCHOOL: Minnesota state 4x400m state champion... Competed in Nike Cross Country Nationals in 2013... Member of the National Honor Society and the Student Council... Also played hockey and soccer in high school. 

PERSONAL: Majoring in media studies...Daughter of Kendra and Tim Goertzen... Hobbies include running, reading, cooking and singing.
