Biography
International: Competed in the 2022 Temple Challenge at the Henley Royal Regatta in the United Kingdom.
As a Junior (2022): Rowed in the 2V8+ that finished second at the IRA National Championships...rowed in the 2V8+ that won the Pac-12 Championship...rowed in the 2V8+ that defeated Washington to help reclaim the Schoch Cup...rowed in the 2V8+ that defeated Northeastern in the Pac-12 Challenge...rowed in the 2V8+ that swept races against Oregon State, Drexel, San Diego and Santa Clara at the Lake Las Vegas Invitational.
As a Sophomore (2021): Appeared in four races...coxed the 2V8+ that took second at the IRA National Championships...coxed the 2V8+t that captured second at the Pac-12 Championships.
As a Freshman (2020): Coxed the Freshman 8+ that won the UC Challenge Cup. ... Also coxed at the Princeton Chase.
High School: Competed at Jesuit College Prep under coaches John Fife and Randy Dam… Named team captain for the 2016-2017 season
Personal: Son of Jim and Kristy French…Eventually wants to partner with his dad as a real-estate developer… Interest in both cars and rowing
