Biography

As a Junior (2021): Did not appear in any races in 2021. 

Summer 2018: Competed with Golden Bear teammate Ferdinand Querfeld in the Austrian pair at the 2018 World Rowing Cup II, finishing second in the B final and winning the C final at the 2018 World Rowing Cup III in Switzerland… Competed for Austria in the men’s four at the European Championships in Glasgow, finishing second in the B final

As a Sophomore (2018): Won bronze as the bow seat in the Bears’ varsity eight at the 2018 IRA National Championship Regatta… Named to the IRA All-Academic Team... Helped the Bears’ varsity eight to a silver medal at the 2018 Pac-12 Championships… Earned Pac-12 All-Academic Honorable Mention… Captured the Copley Cup with the varsity eight at the 2018 San Diego Crew Classic to open the spring season, topping defending champion Yale in both the dual and final… Helped Cal’s championship eight to victory at the Head of the Charles, setting a course record in the process

Summer 2017: Won bronze at the 2017 World Rowing U23 Championships in the Austrian four, racing alongside Cal teammate Ferdinand Querfeld.. Competed in the Austrian four at the 2017 World Rowing Championships in Sarasota, Florida, taking fifth in the B final

As a Freshman (2017): Competed as a member of the Varsity 8 that was undefeated during the regular season... Helped the varsity eight to silver at the 2017 Pac-12 Championship, contributing to the team’s second place finish... Raced with the First Varsity 8 boat at the IRA Championships, where the Bears placed fourth in the overall team standings

International: Won gold in the Austrian four at the 2016 U23 World Championships…Won the pair at the 2013 Junior European Championships and placed sixth in the even at the Junior World Championships…5-time honoree for Outstanding Achievements For the Austrian Rowing Federation

Major: Political Economy with a minor in City Planning… Hopes to eventually pursue a masters degree in Economics
