California (2015): Made history in January, 2015 as one of 15 student-athletes across the country to have a voice at the NCAA Convention ... each of the five power conferences (ACC, Big Ten, Big 12, Pac-12 and SEC) were granted three student-athletes for January’s NCAA Convention in Washington, D.C. James, the president of Cal’s Golden Bear Advisory Committee, received the honor along with UCLA football player Kene Orjioke and Washington gymnast McKenzie Fechter in a vote by her peers on the Pac-12 Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.

California (Lacrosse): Was a member of the Cal lacrosse team where she appeared in four games as a freshman for the Golden Bears in 2013, collecting two ground balls. 

High School/Personal: Played for her lacrosse team at Monte Vista High School and for her club team, Bearlax... also played varsity tennis in high school for three years
