Biography

As a Junior (2018): Stroked Cal’s varsity eight to gold at the 2018 NCAA Championships, helping the Golden Bears claim the overall NCAA team title… Pocock CRCA Second Team All-American…Helped the Bears’ varsity eight to a bronze medal at the 2018 Pac-12 Championships… Stroked the Bears’ varsity eight to an undefeated regular season, including winning both the Simpson and Lambert Cups over rivals Washington and Stanford

Summer 2017: Earned a spot in the B final at the 2017 World Rowing U23 Championships in the German pair. 

Sophomore 2017: All-Academic Pac-12 Honorable Mention...Bowed in three regattas for the 1st Varsity 8+ and rowed in five regattas for the 2nd Varsity 8+, earning seven regular season victories... Rowed in the 2nd Varsity 8+ at the Pac-12 Championships garnering a second place finish to Washington...Bowed the Varsity 8+ boat that finished third at the NCAA Championship and contributed to the team’s second place finish. 

Freshman (2016): Rowed in the Bears 2nd Varsity 8+ that won a gold medal at the NCAA National Championship. The 2nd Varsity 8+ helped the bears to earn enough points to be team champions... Pac-12 co-newcomer of the year award winner

Personal: Parents Ulrich and Beate… Has two sisters... Paula, who rows at Cambridge,  and Lucie… Postgraduate plans to attend architecture grad school…

National Team: Member of the German national team in 2013 at the Junior World Championships in the 4- event
