Emily Shibata off the Pitch:

Full Name: Emily Shibata

Nickname(s): Emmo, Shibby

I Chose Cal because...it is close to home, and I love that my parents can come to every game!

My favorite thing about the Bay Area is...San Francisco.

Something on my iPod that might surprise you is...that I love R&B music and slow jams.

The most interesting thing I did this summer was...go to Italy and Japan.

When I'm upset, I like to...work out.

The best moment in sports history was when...we beat North Carolina my freshman year!

Cal is better than other schools because...Berkeley is crazy!

Something I learned from my parents is...to never give up, even when the going gets tough.

If I wasn't a soccer player, I would be...volleyball player (if I was tall!)

Which words of phrases do you overuse? "Hella" and "lovely"
