The Cal men's basketball team is off to a 4-1 start, and for factors in that strong start one need not look further than Sean Lampley.

The Bears' forward was averaging a nation-leading 14.0 rebounds through Cal's first four games, including a 21-point, 18-rebound performance against Houston.

A member of the Pac-10 All-Freshman team a year ago, Lampley is trying to become the first Cal player to average more than 10 rebounds a game since Brian Hendrick averaged 10.7 boards in 1991-92.

As the Bears gear up for a tough Pac-10 conference, we invite you to go to the source.

Send your questions (please keep them brief) for Lampley now. His responses will be posted here.

Excerpt: "In the NFL, cornerbacks will play longer. For a tailback, the average is only about three years. You just get beat up physically at that position. Plus, I have fun playing corner with the challenges of going one-on-one against people and playing within a unit in the secondary."
