Cal 2010: Appeared in two games.

High School: Captain of the Divots Field Hockey Club, led her team to the National Festival Tournament Championship in 2008...captained the Divots in 2008 and 09...won the T.O.C. Championship in 2008 and 09...earned the Most Inspirational Award as a junior...also played soccer and participated in track and field...was on the honor roll all four years...was part of the National Charity League, and president of the Red Cross Blood Drive her senior year.

Personal: Born on July 16, 1992, in Newport Beach, Calif....parents are Steve and Anne Layton...has three sisters...older sister, Elizabeth, graduated from Cal in 2010 and competed on the Golden Bear water polo team...grandfather, Robert, also attended Cal and played football and rugby for the Bears...has been to Italy and France...hopes to become a veterinarian...undeclared major.
