• Added De Anza Football League Defensive Player of the Year honors as a sophomore when he posted 158 tackles, 16.0 tackles for loss, 2.0 sacks (-15 yards), 14 quarterback hurries and four forced fumbles for a team that was 8-4 overall, won the De Anza Football League title with a 6-0 mark and reached the semifinals of the Central Coast Section Open Division 2 playoffs
