– Spent his 2016 and 2017 sophomore and junior seasons at Sheldon High School in Eugene, Oregon, where he combined during those two campaigns for 60 tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss, 7.0 sacks (-32 yards), 16 quarterback hurries, two interceptions that he returned for 100 yards and one touchdown, and one pass deflection
